It’s an old custom in the world of programming for coders to write their first program in a newly learned language to print out a simple little “Hello World”. The custom has been adopted outside of programming and is one that I have personally tried to adhere to anytime I have started up a new website.

Hello World!
Consider this our kickoff post. It’s the first of many posts, articles, and galleries to follow covering clean and sustainable technology and the companies and people behind it all. We live in really exciting times and are in the midst of a grand transition from a world and society supported by cheap fossil-fuels towards one that is held up by truly sustainable systems. We don’t have to move back into the caves to protect the natural environment. We can all have clean water and cable TV at the same time.
So welcome to Revmodo! All of us here are really excited to finally be up and running. On behalf of my partners Michael and Brooke and the rest of the Revmodo staff, I thank you for your readership.
